The Fist and D.C.

I went to go some friends in Richmond, VA for a couple of days. We went to an old plantation one day that was converted into a park. They had a Japanese garden and an Italian garden. They were both beautiful. We then spent a day in D.C. as well to see the cherry blossom festival.

Service Learning at F Street Community Center

This was one of the most fun shoots I have done. The kids were wonderful and were not distracted by the camera, which is good for me. The kids were learning about Martin Luther King and his teachings. They did a couple of activities which included tracing their hands on different colored paper, cutting them out and putting them up on a board. They did this to illustrate the point of equality and the only difference between everyone is just color.
